On Friday 5th February Coruña British School will celebrate the First Conference on British Education under the title, “Early Years Childhood Education under debate”, in the conference room of Afundación, at nº8 Cantón Grande, at 7pm.
Why choose a British School for your child? What are its main characteristics and advantages against other educational models? These are some of the questions that our experts in education will try to answer, especially in relation to the Early Years of schooling, as early years education will be the main focus in this first edition.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce that Javier Tirapu, National Award in Neuroscience will speak at the Conference. He is a recognised and renowned Neuroscientist who, through his talk “Executive intelligence and its implications in infant education”, will address the importance of valuing and fostering that our children make their own decisions from a very early age, as the best way for them to motivate themselves, for them to persevere and create a better life, their life, their future, which will depend on all the small decisions they take in the present.
At the event we will have simultaneous translation. There will also be a vino español at the end for all the attendees. We hope to see you there!
