Helpful in advice for Nursery parents
Next September we will start a new Academic Year, and for some of our families it will be a very exciting moment: the first day of school for 3 year olds. It is a very special moment in your lives, and a great step for your children, so we leave you with a series of tips that you can apply in the coming weeks so that starting school is not so hard for the kids.
You can talk to them about the school and their teacher, about the friends they will make and how much they will be able to play, make it sound fun! Eat varied meals and know how to go alone to the bathroom, the establishment of routines and reinforce the importance of sharing are issues that, although it may not seem like it, will make the incorporation of young children into school much easier.
Knowing and understanding the words “no” and “for” is also very important, for your own safety and that of your colleagues. Sing songs, finding numbers, shapes, coloured items through playing, talking about the time and days of the week or reading a book together will be a great help to adapt to the rhythm of classes.
Although each child is unique and unrepeatable, we are convinced that these programs will be very useful for you.
