In CBS we consider that extracurricular activities are an essential complement to a child’s curricular education. We believe that the activities must be structured and have a defined purpose as well as being recreational so that the children enjoy themselves and explore other areas of life beyond the academic realm.

This is the case in art and chess. In our art extracurricular activity of art, from Reception onwards, the children can enhance their creativity and intelligence in a fun and different way and at the same time they will develop their fine motor skills and they will be initiated in the artistic language.

In Chess our children from Year 1 onwards will learn the basic rules of the game and simple strategies. It is an introductory course which will end with a tournament and the end of the school year between the school students.

We are very keen to see how you progress!
